I can't believe a month has gone by and its time for another E-news. Last month I mentioned I would like to use the newsletter to get you better acquainted with our company. To that end...

We are a small specialized company located in Sacramento CA. The current owner and President, J.P. Singh, has owned the company since 1997. He purchased Omega Machine and Tool, Inc. from Pete Coumas in March of 1997.

Our speciality is the remanufacture of hard parts for automatic transmissions. We stock a number of different pumps, bell housings, cases and drums. Omega is also one of the major producers of bronze bushings and steel sleeves for the automotive transmission industry.

We are always on the prowl for new bushings, tools, or parts to produce, and are more than willing to listen to anyone who isn't happy with an existing part. Solving problems with an existing bushing or hard part is our niche. Give us a call or drop me a line with your idea. We'll make it, "Omega Better"

Are you seeing a delayed engagement in forward or reverse? How about a slipping in forward or reverse, or no go at all. Your problem may not be in the transmission, but the transfer case. The direct drum in the transfer case is often overlooked. Many times the sealing rings on the support have eaten into the drum, and depending on the severity of the wear, you can have any of these symptoms.

We repair the ring cut area of this drum with a chrome moly sleeve, and install a new bronze bushing. We also carry new aftermarket drums.
