Hard to believe that the first month of the new year is
already over. Here in California it looks more like Spring than Winter.
Seems like a lot of things are out of whack. Hope your year has started
off on the right foot. We're pleased at the way the new year has started
for us.

Housing Bushing.
For some reason the manufacturers of the 4L80E transmission
decided starting in 2004 to make the bore in the tail-shaft housing
a little bit larger. Bless them! The only solution in the past was a
new housing. Now the bushing is available by itself.

Here is the bushing. They are, or should be, available
from most of your local transmission parts distributors. If you call
and they don't have them, first ask why not, and then ask them to have
us drop-ship you one.
I said last month that I was going to talk about teardown
benches, but that is going to have to wait until next month.
