Well if you've been paying attention, you might have noticed
that we missed a couple of months. I was on vacation in August and the
time flat got away from me while we were busy getting ready for the
ATRA Transmission Expo in Las Vegas the end of September. Hope you came
by and saw us!
The show was a good one for us, although it looked like
the numbers were down a little from last year. Met many of our customers
face to face for the first time and saw some older friends.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned it in these newsletters
before, but if you have a need for some unique part or tool, please
let us know. It doesn't have to be a huge seller for you, just a couple
of times a year, X the 9,000 + transmission shops across this country,
makes a good item for us to develop.
Featured part: Borg Warner 4405 Transfer
Cases
These case halves have been wearing out and causing a
popping out of gear situation. When you let off the gas, you can hear
a grinding or whirring noise. When you try to back up, the transfer
case pops out of gear.
Rear
Case half
We put a chrome moly sleeve in the rear case, to repair
the rear output shaft bearing bore. We also install a bushing in the
front and rear case halves where the shift rail bosses have been distorted.

Until next
time, thanks for taking the time to read our newsletter!
