June almost got away from me before I realized the newsletter
hadn't been sent out. This month I wanted to introduce Dave Drenth our
senior machinist. I included this information in our blog
several months ago, but I know not everyone reads it so.
Dave is the former owner of Stelco. If that name doesn't ring
a bell how about Mr. Madik or Mini Madik. They are the finest washing
machines in the business. They come with complete water filtration systems.
Dave tells me he knows of one shop who hasn't had to change the water
in his machine for five years. The washing machine business is a side
business, but parts and the Mini Madik are still available from Dave.
The seal for this transfer case is a very expensive seal and
very easy to ruin when installing it. There is an inner and outer metal
sleeve that needs to be pressed at the same time. That is no problem but
they are on different planes.

This tool has two different pressing surfaces to insure equal
force on both inner and outer sleeves, resulting in the job done right,
once. At 50.00 plus per seal who wants to do it twice?
Short and sweet this month
and time for another BBQ this weekend. I'll be going to Royer Park in
Roseville for a concert by the Capitol Pops Concert Band from noon to
2 p.m. They'll be play stirring rendetions of all the popular 4th of July
marching tunes. If you're in the Sacramento area come on by. Bring your
folding chair or a blanket to sit on the grass. Whatever you do this weekend
remember our service personal and families.
